Albion Rovers are delighted to officially welcome Steven Sullivan to the club, with the former East Kilbride kit assistant settling into his new role as our kit manager.
Steven, who has also acted as Kilby’s supporter liaison officer, joined Steven Saunders’ backroom team for last Saturday’s trip to Preston Athletic.
We’d like to thank Alex Cooper for his service to the club, with Coops having decided to stand down from his role last month. A popular face around The Reigart Stadium, he joined in the summer of 2024 and always made sure that everything was prepared for the players and management team.
Manager Steven Saunders said: “Alex was a big part of the club and a huge help when we joined the club. Steven has now joined us and will kick on in leading the kit management side of things.”

Also working with gaffer Steven, assistant manager John McGowan and sports therapist Louise Downie is goalkeeping coach Jamie Strachan.
The former Hearts Women goalkeeping coach joined #ARFC alongside the management team in the summer after a memorable spell with the Scottish Women’s Premier League title holders. He played a key role in now Manchester United manager Eva Olid’s backroom team.
“Jamie came as a recommendation from trusted coaches that we know well,” Saunders added.
“He enjoyed a successful spell with Hearts Women last season and has a really good pedigree as a goalkeeping coach. He has stepped into the job really well.”
We will catch up with all of the football department, continuing from our first behind-the-scenes interview that went out this week. That was with Mark Laurie from Proactive Performance, who has been working with the playing squad. Watch that interview below:
