The Rovers Return is back.

Firstly, we’d like to thank our backers from our first-ever Rovers Return fundraiser. The response blew us away, and the support the Club received was instrumental in allowing the Board to establish our primary mission of transforming The Reigart Stadium into Coatbridge’s community sports hub.

Again, we’d like to specifically thank Bill Walker and all of his Squad Fund backers for their support over many years. Your generous support has led to a significant six-figure sum in donations since its inception in 2012. Our fundraising initiative will continue to augment the Squad Fund’s immense contribution.

We’ve made one key change in response to feedback. The Rovers Return will now see all monies raised go towards our playing budget. All monies raised will be ringfenced.

Three-tiered fundraising project will directly boost next season’s playing budget.
Funders who sign up this weekend (before May 11) can have a chosen name adorned on next season’s home top by pledging just £10 a month. After two weeks, the name isn’t guaranteed.

Why?

The Club’s primary mission is the way forward for Albion Rovers. We’ve made significant, tangible progress in our bid to turn The Reigart Stadium into Coatbridge’s community sports hub.

Having an artificial surface wouldn’t be a magic fix for becoming sustainable in the fifth tier – but it would go a long way. Until then, we had to survive and will now attempt to thrive in the new, extremely competitive, Lowland League West.

The truth is that we are going into an even tougher league next term. The West will have several well-backed, well-supported clubs that have built up a strong, sustainable infrastructure over the years. We are at the start of that journey.

And you, our supporters, have made it clear that although there is understanding that the Board are running a business, having a competitive team on the park should come first over everything else.

To do that, and provide a more competitive budget to the management team, we have to increase our income significantly. We’ve already agreed on an increased budget, but we need to boost that as much as we can.

With that in mind, this Rovers Return will simply be a budget builder for the management team. All of the money raised will go into the playing budget pot. It’s that simple.

How?

The Rovers Return launched on Thursday, April 23.

We are asking those who can spare it to boost the playing budget for next season.

The Rovers Return is a three-tiered donorship fundraising initiative where you will be able to contribute on a monthly basis to the Club over ten months, alongside an opportunity to make a one-off contribution.

For your contribution, there will be a host of brilliant benefits, including the opportunity to have one chosen name adorn our 2026/27 home top if you sign up by the date shown above.

Monthly payments will be collected monthly (ten payments).

One-off payments can also be arranged by selecting the annual option.

You will still be able to purchase season tickets, sponsor matches/match balls/players, and continue to contribute to the Squad Fund in the same usual ways, this initiative is simply to help reward fans for their contributions.

Terms & Conditions

*Albion Rovers Football Club reserve the right to withdraw any name provided that could be deemed as offensive. Only one name will be accepted. Please check spelling.

1. Your choice of home or away shirt will be available for collection (or postage at additional cost) before 2027.

2. An adult season ticket will require you to complete a Season Ticket form before you will be able to collect your ticket. We will organise this similar to last year. Season tickets will be available for collection before the first home league game of the season. Season tickets only permit entry to home league matches or matches specified by the Board in advance.

3. Four complimentary tickets will be provided to you at the point of season ticket collection. The complimentary tickets can be used for entry to home league matches only.

4. You will be required to [email protected] email in advance to book your boardroom visit, seven days in advance of the fixture you would like to attend. The boardroom experience can be used at home league matches only. If space isn’t available, we may have to ask you to choose another fixture.

5. Your framed shirt will be available for collection (or postage at additional cost) from February 2027.

6. Your season ticket will be upgraded to allow the use of the boardroom experience for all home league matches.

7. Should you purchase any home cup match tickets; your ticket will be upgraded to allow the use of the boardroom experience.

8. Any failed or missing payments will forfeit all benefits at the discretion of the Board.

9. Your personal data: the Club is a data controller in respect of personal data submitted by you and will hold and process personal data for legal and administrative purposes, to inform you of your contractual benefits as a Rovers Return Member or Purchaser and, where permitted, for marketing purposes. The personal data provided to the Club shall be processed, stored and transferred in accordance with the terms of the Club’s privacy policy, which is available at albionroversfc.com. We will use the information you give us to send you information as set out in the Club’s Data Protection Statement.

10. A £10 fee is required to replace lost season tickets.

11. Regarding the chosen name adorning our home top, you must sign up within the timeframe specified. Name inclusion is at the discretion of the Club after that point, as described numerous times throughout the launch material.
