Albion Rovers are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Peter Urminsky has joined the club on loan from William Hill Premiership side St Mirren until January.
The 6ft 6in former Spartak Trnava youth academy graduate, 27, joins Steven Saunders’ side, having had loan spells with Trenčín, Ayr United, Stenhousemuir and Glentoran.
Peter has already been training with Saunders’ squad, and he is available for selection tomorrow when we welcome Eddlewood to The Reigart Stadium in the South Challenge Cup.
Manager Saunders said on his latest signing: “Peter brings a bit of experience to our young back line. He’ll also be a commanding presence for us.”
Marcel Krzeminski returns to Queen’s Park following the end of his loan. Grant Tamosevicius temporarily returns to St Mirren, with the possibility of the youngster returning later in the season. The club would like to thank both players for their efforts during their time at Cliftonhill.
