Where to start. A part-time club like ours usually sees medical staff come and go, but Jade Shiels has been an integral member of the football department for over 7 and a half years, joining back in 2019.
A talented and popular physiotherapist, Jade is the best in the business. That’s for sure. Her talents were recognised and appreciated by each management team that she worked with during her time at The Reigart Stadium.
We have been privileged to have Jade for such a lengthy period of time, and our playing staff have enjoyed the very best medical support, and many have made a friend for life. That goes for the countless club volunteers who have gotten to know Jade over the year too.
Everyone at Albion Rovers would like to thank Jade for her outstanding contribution to the club and wish her every success in her new role. She went over and above and showed immense loyalty to the club.

Director Ben Kearney said: “Where to start indeed… Jade has been an invaluable asset to Albion Rovers from the day she joined the club.
“Her dedication and professional talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, with each management team recognising Jade’s expertise and friendly nature.
“A key part of the football department for such a lengthy period, Jade departs with an outstanding reputation within the Scottish game and I know that she will continue to be an asset in her next role.
“From everyone at Albion Rovers, I’d like to place on record our gratitude and simply say a big thank you. Again, good luck and don’t be a stranger.”
