Paul Cairney signs on for the 20/21 season.
Vastly experienced, Paul has had a stellar career in Scottish football, playing top-flight football for Hibernian and Kilmarnock.
The 32-year-old midfielder joins after previously playing under Brian Reid when he was manager of Stranraer.
“I honestly think this is a massive coup for us.” manager Brian Reid said.
He added: “Having worked with Paul I know the real quality he has. His intelligence on the pitch and his natural ability is second to none.
“I have made clear already that I want the squad to have experience and Paul brings an abundance.
“He has a great passing range and will be a steady head on the park.”
Commenting on the move, Paul said: “I am delighted to be back playing again, I have had a wee period out of football but I am more than ready to be playing again.
“When Brian gave me a call it was a no brainer.”
