Long-serving kitman Jason Bell has decided to step down from his role this week.
Everyone at Albion Rovers would like to thank ‘Jaz’ for his endeavour and commitment to the club over the years, and for the hard graft he has put into sorting out our kit on Saturday and everything in between.
Highly popular and instantly-recognisable, he has witnessed the highs and lows of being a part of our wee unique football club. He’s carried out a number of different roles at the club over the years, and of course his dad Bobby did the same.
Jaz leaves a club legend, that is for sure, and we wish him the very best in the future.
There will always be a seat for you at Cliftonhill.
Jaz said: “It’s been a great journey and I have met so many players and managers. I would like to thank the board of directors for giving me the opportunity.
“The club will remain in my heart forever and I will be checking out the scores every Saturday, I wish the players and staff all the best in the coming season 22/23.
“Again thank you to the ARFC family for everything it’s been a pleasure.”
Unsurprising – many ex-players and coaches have been in touch too to send their best wishes, which speaks volumes of the impact Jaz had had over the years.
