Albion Rovers can confirm that midfielder Alfie Lumsden has joined Whitburn on loan until January.
The 19-year-old has made 28 competitive appearances for The Reigart Stadium side since joining the club, scoring one goal against Berwick Rangers.
He now joins Scott Woodhouse’s team – who sit 14th in the East of Scotland Premier Division.
The Burnie travel to Tam Scobbie’s Camelon Juniors this Saturday afternoon.
Alfie will link up with former Albion Rovers goalkeeper Daniel Gaffney.
“It is an opportunity for Alfie to get minutes under his belt until January,” manager Steven Saunders said. “Hopefully he can come back flying after getting more game time.”
