Albion Rovers are delighted to announce that Alex Eguagie has joined the club on loan from William Hill Championship side Queens Park for the 2026/2027 Lowland League West season!
The 18-year-old striker joined the Spiders in the summer having came through the Youth Ranks at Hamilton Accies where he also made his senior debut in Hamilton’s 2-1 defeat to Annan Athletic in the KDM Evolution Trophy where he played 90 minutes. Alex also had a short term loan with WOSFL Premiership side Shotts Bon Accord last season!
Speaking on his 2nd loan signing of today, Manager Steven Saunders said: “Alex is someone who has recently signed with Queens Park and he needs the experience of playing Men’s Football alongside training full time at Queens Park, they’ve got high hopes for him for their first team and hopefully this will be the first step in his career!”
