Cowdenbeath 0-1 Albion Rovers

Albion picked up a deserved three points winning 1-0 away to Cowdenbeath.

Alfie Robinson was a late starter after James McGowan pulled up just before 3pm.

Rovers started with intent, and Aron Lynas done brilliantly to win a penalty – which was duly despatched by Ryan Stevenson.

We controlled most of the first half and should have been a few goals up, Jamie Leslie went close with a header and Finn Ecrepoint missed a glaring chance.

The second half was more even, but we stood our ground and defended well. We could have had another penalty when Leslie was felled in the box.

Lewis Kidd ran the game in the middle of the park, and the defence and goalkeeper were immense.
