Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone who attended our MEETING THE CHALLENGE TO SHAPE OUR FUTURE: ALBION ROVERS NEEDS YOU on Wednesday night.
Although the turnout was low, the people who came along were exactly the type of people we need to help us move forward.
The immediate aim is to ensure we have a club shop up and running for our first home match of the campaign, and that we have a player sponsorship programme back in action by the end of next month.
Hospitality is also something we want to explore.
The Thursday Club was also rightly brought up and the work that goes on each week is invaluable to the running of the club, and without the stadium would not be in the shape it is now.
We would like to thank those who turn up each week for a few hours and would like to invite anyone interested to get in touch on social media or on the https://arfc.proboards.com/ forums.
On Wednesday, June 8, 7.30pm we will hold our next meeting at the stadium and we would love to see some more people come along.
Now onto a general update on ongoings around the club…
• Brian and Scott are working hard to retain players and confirm new signings with a view to moving up the league.
• Season ticket arrangements and prices will be announced soon.
• A new home kit has been picked and we’re retaining our very popular black away kit.
• The pitch is looking incredibly well and kudos to all who have worked on it over the past few weeks.
