Albion Rovers are delighted to announce the signing of Kai Walmsley.
The young midfielder joins the club after leaving East Kilbride U20’s.
Walmsley made a brief cameo in the KDM Evolution Trophy last month for East Kilbride against Bonnyrigg Rose.
Gaffer Steven Saunders said, “I’ve watched Kai a couple of times at East Kilbride 20’s and he was looking for a step up into senior football.”
“He’s a young man with huge potential, and where we are as a club right now, we are looking to develop alongside experienced players like Conor [McLaughlin] and Pagey [Jonathan Page] to help these boys come on, and it’s a great step into men’s football.”, Saunders finished.
Welcome, Kai!
