140th Anniversary: Pie and Bovril for just £1.40

140th Anniversary: Pie and Bovril for just £1.40

Albion Rovers Football Club was founded in 1882 when Coatbridge sides Albion FC and Rovers FC joined forces.

Since that day, it has been quite an adventure.

We’re proud to be a significant part of the history of Coatbridge and much like our town, we’ve faced many a hardship – but our people have always prevailed and excelled, because they are what makes our special club like no other.

The actual date is lost in the mists of time but there is evidence to suggest it was shortly before the end of October in 1882 and with this in mind our match against Stenhousemuir at the Reigart Stadium on Saturday will see us celebrate the occasion.

With thanks to our brilliant Supporters Trust and Community Trust – A Pie and a Bovril will only cost £1.40 for all supporters.

With the current cost of living crisis, we wanted to do something that made the matchday experience cost that wee bit less.

We’ll also have special intergenerational mascots with a combined age of 140.
