Albion Rovers are delighted to confirm that Sonny Aluko has joined the club for Season 25/26!
The forward, 19, joins the club after spending last season with fellow Lowland League side Civil Service Strollers, where he made 34 appearances, scoring 4 goals. Before joining the Edinburgh-based side, Sonny came through the development systems at Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock and Caledonian Braves.
Speaking to club media after joining, Sonny said, “I’m excited to get started., I’ve heard a lot about the management team, and I’m looking forward to working under them, and hopefully they can help elevate me as a player”
Speaking about pre-season, which gets underway tomorrow (21st June), Sonny had this to say: “I’ve been keeping fit during the off-season and I’m excited to get underway”
