Rovers manager Sandy Clark previews our trip to Peffermill this weekend as we take on Edinburgh University in the Scottish Lowland Football League.
“We’re looking forward to playing again,” Clark said. “It will be two weeks since our last game but it feels like ages ago in all honestly, it has been very stop-start for us.
“We’ve been desperate to get back on the pitch – especially after such a frustrating game (the Scottish Cup defeat to Bonnyrigg Rose) and it has been pretty difficult training-wise recently.
“But all the other clubs are in the same boat as us, we’ve trained indoors and made the most of it. The boys are ready and we are looking forward to the game.”
The boss added: “Of course, at the moment, they aren’t in a great position but they are a decent team.
“They operate slightly differently compared to Stirling University but they are still very much a tough opponent who do a lot of good things on and off the pitch.
“I think they are a better team than their league position shows and they have been unlucky in a number of games.
“The matches are coming thick and fast now for us and this is a good point to really start building up a run. We need to approach this one properly and do the right things.”
