Rovers quickly return to action this Saturday (3pm kick-off) with a Park’s Motor Group Scottish Lowland Football League clash against Edinburgh University at The Reigart Stadium.
Sandy Clark’s team come into this match on the back of a 1-0 win over Cumbernauld Colts at Cliftionhill last Tuesday, with that result coming courtesy of a stunning Barry Duncan free-kick.
We currently sit in seventh position in the table having collected 45 points from our 28 outings so far, and we do still have a couple of games in hand over the teams above us in the table.
The Uni sit bottom of the table but are certainly no pushovers – in our previous meeting at Peffermill, it’s fair to say that we were lucky to grab a late point. That one finished 2-2.
