Rovers quickly return to action this Tuesday (7.45pm kick-off) with a Park’s Motor Group Scottish Lowland Football League clash against Cumbernauld Colts at The Reigart Stadium.
Sandy Clark’s team come into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw over Celtic B at Cliftionhill last Saturday, with that result coming courtesy of another penalty goal from star man Niyah Joseph.
We currently sit in ninth position in the table having collected 42 points from our 27 outings so far, and we do still have three games in hand over the teams directly above us in the table.
The match will also see club legend Alan Reid return to the matchday squad after serving a suspension – with the defender set to make his 450th Rovers appearance!
Colts come into the match on the back of a 2-2 draw with Tranent Juniors in Midlothian last Saturday. David Proctor’s side have enjoyed a stellar campaign so far – with the Boadwood men sitting in fourth spot, having only lost five times on league duty. Our previous meeting in Cumberuald ended in a 1-1 draw.
