We’re proud to unveil our bespoke 2025/26 Uhlsport home kit, created in partnership with technical supplier RJM Sports.
The striking retro design not only reflects the club’s historic colours – but also honours the fans who are helping shape its future.
Our Rovers Return backers’ chosen names adorn the yellow top, which features a smart red collar, a subtle lined trim and special ARFC-themed cuffs.
It’s a nod to our past, taking inspiration from our home tops of yesteryear, namely throughout the 1980s. Main club sponsor Ribble Enviro are front and centre, as is the club crest – giving the top a unique look.
Sleeve sponsor The Albion Rovers Supporters Society switches to red this year, and our back-of-shirt sponsors Suicide Prevention NL and The Big Tree Bar – who adorn our playing kit for the first time – follow that theme to complete a stunning top.
The shorts, which adorn sponsor School Cake 101, will be a solid red while the socks switch to yellow, in another nod to our past. We haven’t had yellow socks for over 15 years, and this felt like the perfect occasion to have a change and rounds off a retro theme.
Our new home kit will be worn for the first time when the competitive action gets underway on Saturday, July 26 for our Park’s Motor Group Lowland League opener.
We’ll be continuing with our hugely popular purple and neon away strip for the upcoming season, with the only change being the addition of The Big Tree Bar on the back of the top.
Albion Rovers director Ben Kearney said: “I’d like to thank every backer who has made the Rovers Return a real success. The initiative has helped support the club immensely and the pinnacle of the idea was based around this special home shirt. Thanks also go to the small project group who made the Rovers Return happen, and those other people who have contributed to getting the kit here in plenty of time before the season start. Finally, another thanks goes to Iain McLean for his fantastic pictures.”
A spokesperson for RJM Sports added: “We’re absolutely delighted to continue our partnership with Albion Rovers. Collaborating on this kit has been a real pleasure – the design pays tribute to the club’s proud heritage and incorporating the names of the supporters makes it all the more special. We can’t wait to see it in action.”
You can grab the new top at the club shop or via RJM’s website. We’ll confirm times that the club shop will be open shortly as our pre-season campaign gets underway.
