Albion Rovers can confirm that kit manager Gary Johnstone has left the club to pursue a new opportunity.
Gary, a hugely popular figure, has been a crucial part of the club’s football department in recent campaigns.
He has put in countless hours of work to ensure that the kits, training gear and changing rooms are all set up for every first-team fixture – while also completing other tasks like renovating the changing rooms last summer.
We would like to wish Gary all the best in his new role and thank him for his massive contribution to everything Albion Rovers.
Albion Rovers chairman Bobby Cameron said: “Gary has made a massive contribution to the club and he is the embodiment of what being at a club our size is all about.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to convey our sincere thanks and wish him all the very best in his new role.”
“I’ve loved my time at Albion Rovers.” departing Johnstone added. “I’d like especially thank Sandy Clark, George Paterson and Jade Shiels.
“I hope everyone can stay together and get the club back to where it belongs – it has been a honour to act as the club’s kit manager.”
