Albion Rovers are delighted to confirm that Alex McCaw, Adam Fernie, Bright Prince, Barry Duncan and Josh Tran have all penned new deals!
Fernie, who made his 100th Rovers appearance earlier this campaign, has been part of the league’s meanest defence, conceding only 29 goals so far in our 30 matches so far.
In midfield, Duncan has popped up with a number of cracking goals and produced key moments all season long, with his latest a wonderful free-kick against Cumbernauld Colts.
Wide-men McCaw and Tran have both impressed and have come on leaps and bounds since the season start.
Finally, up top, Prince has popped up with a number of crucial goals and he is set for strong return.
They join goalkeeper Ross Connelly in signing on for next season as manager Sandy Clark and assistant George Paterson begin to shape how our squad will look next campaign.
“We’re really pleased to have the guys on board again for next season,” boss Sandy Clark said speaking at the recent AGM. “Planning for next year is very much underway and we are continuing to talk to other players that are already here and at other clubs. We know what we are after.”
