After a fairly uneventful opening, the ball was played into the ‘Rovers box and McAllister was adjudged to have handled the ball on 14 minutes. He was then sent off by the referee.
The rest of the half saw little opportunities for the ‘Rovers. Paterson played a delightful lob over to Bryne who fired wide with our best chance.
Just after 60 minutes, City sealed the three points with two quickfire goals, both well-placed efforts.
