An update from the Board of Directors: Summer volunteering and going forward into the new season.
Statement:
The Board of Directors would like to extend our thanks to all those volunteers who have supported the club during the close season.
This included: the supportive security improvements for the ground, jet washing, painting, tree and garden maintenance, clearing of obsolete items to skips, demolishing of the old dugouts and decanting the debris, work undertaken on the replacements and roof repairs, just to name a few.
Teamwork indeed for the benefit of our community football club.
In preparing for the 2024/25 season there are areas of support on matchdays that equally are so important to smooth operational needs.
We will see Peter McClurg return to be our stadium announcer for next season.
We will also see Sam Gemmell and Amanda Moore facilitating the role of child wellbeing and protection officers.
Janet Prentice will be looking after our guests in the boardroom.
Other needs of support include:
Turnstile operations to support the current team.
Side gate car park cover for 1hr 30mins until kick-off time
50/50 half-time draw ticket sales.
The development of a pool of volunteers to share responsibilities over the season would be helpful and gratefully appreciated.
