An update from the Board of Directors: Margaret Rizza has joined the Board.
Statement:
Albion Rovers FC are pleased to confirm that Margaret Rizza has joined the club’s Board of Directors with immediate effect.
Margaret has an extensive background in business improvement and consultancy. Six years ago, she launched her own private consultancy firm, drawing upon her thirty-plus years’ experience in the sector.
For most of her professional life, Margaret worked at Glasgow Life – helping deliver several key projects including many linked to the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and its legacy.
Margaret is a director with Free Kicks CIC which delivers fun and engaging physical activity sessions to children from disadvantaged families across Glasgow. She also recently worked with the Jimmy Johnstone Trust’s Board of Directors and helped them to achieve their charitable objectives.
We’re sure everyone associated with the club will wish Margaret well as she takes on this new role. We are delighted that someone with Margaret’s experience, business acumen and funding know-how has agreed to join.
