Albion Rovers are delighted to confirm that Barry Duncan has signed on for Season 25/26!
The midfielder, 22, made his 100th appearance for The Wee Rovers in our final Park’s Motor Group Lowland League fixture of last season against Celtic B. Barry made 34 appearances last season, scoring 3 fantastic goals, including a beautiful free kick away to Gretna on the opening day of last season.
Speaking to club media after signing on for next season, Barry said, “I’m buzzing to get it over the line finally. It’s been a long break, but buzzing to get back into training.”
Speaking about working with Sandy Clark and George Patterson again, Barry had this to say, “It’s always been good to work with them, they’ve been brilliant with me and made me welcome from the start. Last season didn’t go to plan for me, but this season I want to firmly establish myself in the Starting XI and play every week”
Finally speaking about playing in front of the Cliftonhill faithful again, Barry had this to say, “They’ve always been brilliant coming in their numbers every week, both home and away and were a large factor in me deciding to stay.”
