Working Holiday for the Gaffer

A Licence

There’s been no rest over the close season for manager Darren Young as he takes the next step in his coaching career.

As well as re-signing and signing players, the gaffer, and first team coach Tony McMinn, have been grafting down in Largs on the UEFA A Licence Introduction Course run by the Scottish FA.

And they were lucky enough to rub shoulders on the nine day course, which is attended by coaches from across the globe as well as the country, by Champions League winners Costinha and Maniche, England international Leon Osman and coaches from Trindad, The U.A.E and Russian club Zenit.

The hard work is far from over as Darren and Tony still have tutorial days to attend in November 2015 and March 2016 as well as six assignments to complete prior to being assessed in June 2016 and becoming fully accredited UEFA A Licence holders.
