Wallace becomes a Rover

Albion Rovers have today signed 25 year old Ryan Wallace on a one year deal.

Wallace – seen as a striker with a keen eye for goal and a decent turn of pace – comes to Cliftonhill on the back of a five year spell at Championship side Dunfermline Athletic, where he scored a total of 28 goals in 96 appearances.

Whilst the vast majority of his senior career has been with the Pars, Wallace is a product of the Heart of Midlothian youth set-up, joining the Jambos Under 19’s squad in 2009, before scoring on his first team debut against Partick Thistle.

The Bellshill born finisher thereafter joined Airdrie for a season, before enjoying a purple patch at East Fife – recording a total of 28 goals in his season at Bayview.

Player and coaching reaction will be available shortly.
