Albion Rovers 1 vs Berwick Rangers 1
Ladbrokes League 2
The Reigart Stadium, Coatbridge
Saturday 2 March, 3pm
FROM THE CAMP
Kevin Harper’s pre-match thoughts:
“We know what we will get playing Berwick, they have a style of play under their manager that they will stick to.”
“I don’t think they are too far ahead of us playing-wise, we have just made so many costly mistakes. There hasn’t been one match in charge so far where we haven’t had lapses in concentration.”
“This is our chance to close the gap and give us something to build on.”
“We have managed to add two quality players to squad which will help, both add something different to what we already have.”
Berwick sit on 14 points and have been struggling to pick up points just as much as the ‘Rovers. They are currently on a winless streak of 11 games after losing 2-1 midweek to Annan Athletic at home. They will have the comfort of going into the game with a 7 point advantage. In truth, it is a must win game if we want to avoid the play-off.
LAST TIME OUT
Rovers had what can only be described as a miserable day at the office, losing 4-0 to in-form Annan Athletic. It was a positive to see Gary Fisher getting back to full fitness.
