Rovers Appoint Commercial Director

Albion Rovers are delighted to announce the appointment of highly experienced Commercial Director Tommy Adams.

Ayrshire living Tommy, who has possessed commercial roles at clubs like Kilmarnock, Hamilton Academical, Stenhousemuir and Whitletts Victoria FC, joins the club with vast experience in selling advertising space, programme adverts as well as player sponsorships.
Known by many in Ayrshire as ‘The Peoples DJ’ for being their DJ a long time and never changing, Tommy arrives at Rovers with the overall aim of bringing more revenue into the club, raising the clubs profile as well as creating an enjoyable match-day experience for everyone that comes along to the club.
Tommy commented on his appointment: “I am really excited to be here at Cliftonhill and to be handed the role of the clubs Commercial Manager in my own right.”
He added, “Everyone has been so friendly and I can’t thank them enough for the wonderful reception I have had.”
“I worked with Kilmarnock Football Club for ten years, then a new board came in and I left for seven months before returning to do two or three days again. At Killie I brought the last two big shirt sponsors and have also done some work for around six junior clubs in Ayrshire and Glasgow, plus Hamilton Accies and Stenhousemuir.”
“I’m really happy to have joined a club that has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. I realise that there is a lot of work to be done and I hope that I can strengthen then club with everything I can bring to the table.
“My door is open to anyone who has any ideas, I’d be happy to take them on board. As a whole, I’m really looking forward to working with supporters, the Supporters Trust and the local business community.”
“So please, let’s all do this together – the team, the board, the trust, the fans and the business community. We are Albion Rovers Football Club, and we are very much on the up.”
