There’s some early Christmas cheer at Cliftonhill this week – Ross Dunlop has signed an extension to his contract.
The 26 year old defender is now tied to the club until the summer of 2017.
Ross has been a stand out for Rovers alongside older brother – and skipper – Michael in the heart of defence and has been a huge part of the teams superb form this season, which sees Rovers sitting an impressive third in League One.
Gaffer Darren Young said: “We’re delighted Ross has agreed to extend his stay. It’s important to have a strong spine to the team and Ross has been fantastic for us.”
