From the ARFC Board of Directors… thank you!

Season ticket sales

Season ticket sales for our upcoming Park’s Motor Group Lowland League campaign went on sale last week – and the uptake so far has been really encouraging.

We can only thank you, our loyal supporters, for backing us despite our relegation from the SPFL.

Some of the extra donations added onto the season ticket base pricing has been quite remarkable in this financial climate, and once again we can only say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

For those who are purchasing a phsyical physicalseason book – we will have a limted number available to buy in the near future.

We will get the detials out as soon as they are cofirmed (awaiting delivery of the season books!) but provionally, we should be in a position to sell season tickets at the stadium from 6pm to 8pm tomorrow evening (Tuesday, 6 June) and on Thursday evening (8 June).

We will be able to take payment by cash or card.

Futhermore, director Jordan Campbell is able to drop season tickets off (and take payment by cash) at fans home addresses. This may suit older/disabled fans who can’t physically make it to the ground.

Please drop Jordan direct message on the Albion Rovers ProBoard forum to organise this, or contact the club’s social media and we will put you in touch with him.

Supporters’ Trust

We would like to place on record our thanks to the Albion Rovers Supporters’ Trust for the following:

Continuing with sleeve sponsorship for the 2023/2024 campaign.

Manning the Club Shop (Hugh & Roberta specifically).

Financing and selling a high quality match day programme.

Arranging and facilitating upcoming clean-up days at the ground to get it in tip-top shape for our first competitive fixtures in July.

Here is the message from the Trust:

Our annual Saturday close season tidy ups will commence from Saturday, 10 June between 1000 and 1300. We will continue each Saturday until the start of the season.

As everyone knows the club depends greatly on the help of volunteers and it would be great if you could give us a hand over the coming summer weeks to get the ground ready for the forthcoming season.

The sort of jobs we’re looking to focus on are weeding, painting the fence behind the terrace, outdoor painting of the steps and cutting back the ivy at the Coatbridge end.

As the saying goes, “many hands make light work”, so if you can spare your time and talent, please come along. You’d be made most welcome.

Thanks.

Community Trust

Finally, a huge thanks goes to the brilliant Community Trust for effectively sponsoring up to 25 Under-14 season tickets for the 2023/2024 campaign.
