Albion Rovers 3 v 1 Brechin City

Brechin City lost their fifth consecutive league game of the season after going down to Albion Rovers.

Rovers took a deserved the lead through Ross Dunlop but Craig Johnston’s penalty made it all square.

Rovers were awarded a spot-kick of their own; John Gemmell stepping up to put his side ahead.

Andy Barrowman headed in his first goal for the club, and Brechin were awarded a second penalty but it was saved by Ross Stewart.


Two wins in the first four games is the Rovers best start outside the basement division since WW2.
